Windows Experience Index could not be computed - disk assessment fails. When trying to rate my system's performance with the Windows Experience Index, I get an error: The Windows Experience Index for your system could not be computed. Could not measure storage performance. Error: Failed to properly assess the disk. The data is invalid. Anyway, now everything works great, the system is amazingly faster than before, but WEI keeps failing to assess the disk, data invalid. I'm running vanilla Windows 7, freshly installed, updated to latest patches, installed latest graphics driver and motherboard drivers.

WD my book 1110 external drive stopped showing up in my computer.
Attempted to see it in Disk Management...showing Disk 1-Unknown-2047.35 GB-Not Initialized...Right clicked on drive to initialize (attempted GPT and MBR), both returned error message from Virtual Disk Manager-Access is Denied. Drive shows good in Device Manager-working properly...
Attempted Acronis Disk Director 12 and it shows Disk 2-uninitialized-1.999 TB-Healthy...sometimes it allows me to initialize it and I see 2 partitions...It says Disk 2-Basic MBR-1.999 TB-Healthy and the volumes say...Local Volume-698.6 GB-Not formatted-Primary-Healthy, and the other 1.317 TB-Unallocated...When I try to format the primary volume or create a volume on the unallocated volume, the hdd gliches and goes back to Disk 2-uninitialized-1.999 TB-Healthy....Continually back and forth...
When I try Partition Wizard it says bad drive...when I try diskpart it does not show!
Any constructive help will be appreciated...
